Our top quality induction melting furnace coil is designed of hollow EC sections, depending on the KW and weight of the equipment. The circuit of the tank is connected directed to the water cooling induction coil. As the coil is entirely a move able component, so it is connected to the circuits by a set of flexible cables. These cables can be both water or air-cooled depending on the coil capacity.
Our internal coil diameter is insulated using a crucible or cast able refractory to prevent it from the heat generated by the liquid metal. It’s fixed rigidly using vertical tie-rods to avoid any sort of distortion due to the presence of electromagnetic forces. The copper coil is thrice insulated using insulating material to ensure maximum protection. The first layer comprises glass-tape, and the FRP-tape is coiled across it in the form of a second layer. Once the coil is assembled thoroughly, it’s painted using high-quality varnish.
